Sacramento is petty interesting actually we toured around the capital building grounds which are beautifull and we even picked an orange off an orange tree. I have to admit I love the tropical atmosphere here.
We also toured the downtown outdoor shopping plaza and have fun going into the joke and game stores which seem to be in an overwhelming abundance here. We had lunch at Hard Rock cafe which was a first for myself - but apparently Colin is an old hat at it - something about going to one in Europe!
Sacramento also has a "old downtown" all old original buildings from the Gold Rush era. It was fun but all the buildings were full of commercial shops (mom you would have loved it) with covered boardwalks. just off of the down town is the river marina walk with many old steam boats for show - one is even a floating hotel. After the downtown we made like children and were off to the Sacramento zoo, where we both saw some animals that we have never seen before ie hyenas, anteaters, etc. It was a small zoo but fun non the less. After the zoo we had a craving for beer and snacks - we tracked down several local breweries which unfortunately were all closed. we eventually ended up at Joe's Crab Shack which was in the heart of old downtown right on the Sacramento river, it was hear that we indulged in not one but two buckets of crab - oh ya with the bib and everything and few beers!! We ended the night by crashing back at the trailer for goods night sleep.

You are having far too much fun!!!!And we are jealous. Now you know how you can be busy everyday with nothing planned. The buckets of crabs look scrumptous as both of you wearing bibs. Kind of like seniors!!!! You are certainly selling a trip to see you guys with the vineyards and stuff to see. Love mom & dad
