The answer is YES! on our way home from Vegas we got stopped in the middle of tim buck two Nevada dessert because the interstate was closed (closed for blasting)! were we got stopped there was of course a casino and an outlet mall (in the middle of nowhere) so at least we were entertained for the 3 hours we had to wait. By the time they reopened there were hundreds of people stopped and trying to get back onto the interstate - it was insane, and made our 8hr drive home from Vegas long!!
